2019 saw the first ever women’s team set up in the Netherlands and we are extremely proud to have women’s footy played in the Netherlands. The Amsterdam Devils Women competed in the AFL Europe Champions League in their first season and played extremely well considering most of the women were relatively new to the sport before that tournament. Now with more female members coming on board, the sport is growing for women.
Australian Football is fast, fun, exciting, safe, inclusive, social and many other wonderful things wrapped up into one sport. So come along, meet some new friends and try out Australian Football – you won’t regret it!
